Every bearing we stock already carries PolyDyn DL, our dry film lubricant coating. You are buying the coating and the bearing together.
Why buy them already coated
You can send us your own bearings and we will coat them, which is what the bearing coating page is about. But if you are buying bearings anyway, ordering them pre-coated from our inventory saves you the shipping in both directions and the turnaround time that goes with it.
Simply stated, our high performance coated bearings are insurance for the bottom end.
What the coating does
PolyDyn DL has excellent anti-scuffing properties under all conditions. It increases oil retention to protect against intense heat and extreme pressure, which dramatically reduces bearing wear and flaking and adds an extra level of lubricant to the bearing.
These bearings are built for durability and reliability in extreme racing conditions. If you are coating a whole bottom end, pre-coated pistons come out of the same inventory and coated crankshafts are a service job.
