Valve Train Coatings
PolyDyn applies its Performance Dry Film Lubricant to the components of the valve train.
PolyDyn DL has excellent anti-scuffing properties under all conditions and is designed to retain engine oil on component surfaces during intense heat and extreme pressure.
We apply this coating to valve springs, rocker arms, pushrods and retainers. Valve springs coated with PolyDyn DL maintain strength, do not go soft, and are protected against wear, friction and breakage.
Valve faces are a different job and take ceramic rather than dry film, which is covered on the cylinder heads page. The same DL goes on bearings and automotive pumps.
