Coated Crankshafts
A crankshaft works better when it turns freely and cleanly, which is why PolyDyn specifies Performance Oil Shedding Coating for every one.
The coating sheds oil, reducing oil retention and parasitic drag, which virtually eliminates windage related power loss. Less oil weight lets the crankshaft turn faster, which means quicker RPM acceleration.
It also prevents excessive oil build up from pulling the crankshaft out of balance.
Crank and pan work as a pair: the same oil shedding coating goes on the oil pan and windage tray, so oil that leaves the crank has somewhere to go. Coated bearings finish the bottom end.
